review

Well - the selection of mince pies and mulled wine was unfortunately non-existent... and the market was a little on the (cough) small side... But I found the three cosy, delightful little stalls, tucked away at the top of St James Street and providing things from incense to colourful woolly jumpers and bags. Although the market wasn't as busy as I'd expected - I was glad as it meant there was more flapjack pieces for me to scoff! Yummy!

Cardome provided a warm and cosy retreat, with a wide variety of cards for all occasions and themes as well as lots of other nick-nacks for the home. I picked up a cats' bum tea towel holder for an unnamed friend for Christmas!

And to add to the yuletide cheer - Prowler and Clone Zone have their festive windows ready to lure us in and the Bulldog looked very Christmassy and extremely pretty! Awww!

about Clonezone

There's something rather reassuring about Clonezone. It might be that they've been around for a long time, have a lot of experience and knowledge in their field, or perhaps it's just their honesty that comes through. There's no hiding what they're all about underneath any veneer of 'chic-come-highstreet' or 'lifestyle' respectability. They sell what they sell and have become very much part of, and highly supportive of, the LGBT community in the cities in which they are located.
