LGBT Get Your Data Day!

Tuesday, 6 April 2010

On April 22nd the Count Me In Too research project, which has been researching LGBT lives and needs in Brighton & Hove since 2005, will invite service providers, community groups and interested individuals to a Get Your Data Day.

The Count Me In Too project has a wealth of data about LGBT lives and needs in Brighton & Hove, much of which has yet to be reported on. If there’s something you want to know, the project hopes to help you find out – and with a minimum of fuss! In a matter of minutes you could have the data you need, and Count Me In Too researchers will be on hand to help you to use it effectively.

Those hoping to attend Get Your Data Day can email Nick McGlynn at for more information, or simply turn up between 10am and 4pm at the University of Brighton’s Grand Parade Building and ask for the Count Me In Too project. After a quick registration, members of the research team will be happy to listen to your data request and, if the project has relevant data, to find what you need.

If you are unable to attend Get Your Data Day but still want to know something about LGBT lives and needs in Brighton & Hove, see the website (www.countmeintoo.co.uk) for a full range of the project’s findings reports and short community summaries (all free to download), or email Nick to find out about the LGBT Research Information Desk.
