Knock One Out raises £505!

Thursday, 8 October 2009

The Sussex Beacon took delivery of a cheque for £505 courtesy of a recent friendly DJ competition held at Revenge.

Jamie Burns organised the first in what is to be an annual Knock One Out battle of talent behind the decks. DJs giving up their time for nothing to support the occasion were LeeRoy, Verity, Jonesy, King K, Lil'Alex and Dulcie Danger. Text voting on the night raised another £40 or so, with Dulcie taking first prize as the punter's most popular DJ.

The Sussex Beacon is a centre for those living with HIV/AIDS offering both day and residential care. Jamie presented the cheque to Cath Matos from the Sussex Beacon along with Revenge manager Andrew and two of the DJs, Lil Alex and event winner Dulcie Danger.
