Wirefree & easy at Café 22
Café 22 switches on Wireless internet access point

Wirefree & easy at Café 22

Thursday, 25 March 2004

Cables are just SO last year, darling. One of the latest additions to Brighton's café scene, The Hub at the bottom of St James Street, throws the switch on its new Wireless access point.

The service is free to anyone buying refreshments from the café and, of course, you'll need to own a suitably equipped laptop.

How it works:

1. You buy a coffee and sit down.
2. Open your laptop and make sure your wireless card (802.11b card for the techies) is plugged in and switched on.
3. Sip at your coffee and type "www.realbrighton.com" into your browser.

And that's it... you're online and looking at your favourite website again!
