Further to comments and enquiries we have received, we felt it would be helpful to outline the St James Street arrangements for post-pride Saturday and Sunday, in so far as information that has been confirmed to us.

There will be no formal street party arrangements this year, although the street is being closed off over the Pride weekend to offer a safe environment for revellers to move around the area. No amplified music or street entertainment is planned or, indeed, permitted - however, all the pubs and bars in the area will be welcoming everyone and some of the clubs will be open earlier in the day on Saturday and during the day on Sunday to provide entertainment and drinking space.

The Authorities are encouraging a relaxed and safe atmosphere to all Pride revellers over this busy weekend.
