Mad Cow raises £1,200
St John Ambulance benefits from Charles Street fundraising

Mad Cow raises £1,200

Thursday, 8 June 2006

The St John Ambulance Regency Division presented Charles Street Manager, Chris Marshall, with a Glass Presentation and certificate in recognition of the whopping £1,200 raised on door at Mad Cow.

Sergeant Kevin Whitaker, of the Regency Division said "it is a great honour to present this to such a well known venue and club night in Brighton and we are very grateful for the generosity and support of Charles Street and its customers".

Mad Cow is the Thursday night of drinks at... well... mad prices. The £1 entry door money goes directly to charity. With Pints at £1.25 and house wine and shots at £1, the night has become a Brighton institution.

St John Ambulance Regency Division is always on the look out for new members... Darren Owen (pictured far right) is calling for new volunteers... Give them a call on 01273 696969 if you think you may have some spare time and fancy getting involved. Failing that, make sure you give the guys a big pat on the back over the coming months as they are once again supporting Pride in Brighton and Hove on the 5th of August.
