Full speed ahead for the Street Party!

The jingles are being planned and the soundtracks are being prepared. Yes The Village St Party 2008 plans are full steam head as preparations for the cities favourite slice of street life continue.

Organisers CIT are pleased to announce that GScene will be sponsoring Juice FM’s coverage of the Village St Party 2008. This support will help provide a uniform sound across the village and outside of all participating venues, giving it a truly carnival atmosphere throughout the weekend.

Gscene, a Brighton and Hove LGBT community magazine since 1993, connects with 47,000 LGBT people each month and with this sponsorship will be adding a little musical twist to that connection. Help is still needed as organisers still have soundtrack slots to fill. They are offering six local DJs the opportunity to record and produce a 45-minute set at Juice FM. Your soundtrack - if chosen - will be played at every Village Street Party 2008 venue via Juice FM. So if you want the street to feel your spin get in touch with organisers now.

As if that wasn't enough street news for you CIT are pleased to announce that many venues have already completed their TENS - that's Temporary Event Notices to you and me - for the weekend festivities. Add the additions currently being made as CIT collect donations from other businesses to ensure the party costs are met and you can already hear a sound street party success.
