A little bit of Italy in Hove @ St Andrew's Church, Hove

A little piece of Italy in Hove; St Andrew’s
opens its doors.
As part of Heritage Open Days 2008 St Andrew’s in Waterloo Street, Hove welcomes any who wish to visit this lovely old Church by the sea. The church will be open on Saturday and Sunday 13 and 14th of September between 2 and 4 pm.
Set back from the seafront, this Regency church was built to serve the expanding resorts of Hove and Brighton. Designed in 1827 by the famous architect Sir Charles Barry, its Italian Renaissance style perfectly matches the symmetry and grandeur of the neighbouring squares and terraces.
The church is also the regular venue for the ever popular BHAGMC concerts.
