Brighton's best...
|
Brighton Royal Hotel No Muss and No Fuss is what makes this extremely good little budget hotel perfect for visitors to Brighton. In fact, when we say no-frills, we mean it in the sense of a lack of crocheted, itchy bedspreads and overly-busy wallpaper that can disguise a multitude of sins.
This hotel is immaculately presented - clean and tidy, with simple decor and everything you'll need for your stay. Many rooms boast en-suite facilities and each room has tea/coffee and telly with CD and Radio. A couple of the rooms are themed - we'd thoroughly recommend the Jungle Room, with outrageous leopard print bedspread and zulu artifacts gracing the walls. Bedding is freshly laundered daily with clean towels provided. At rates that start from only £17.50pppn, you really can't go wrong. The hotel is right opposite Brighton's Royal Pavilion and perfectly placed to discover Brighton by day and our thriving clubbing scene by night. Gay or straight, everyone is made very welcome. That said, there is a little extra thrown in for gay or bi male guests: A free entry pass to the Brighton Oasis Sauna which is more or less on-site (from Sun - Thurs, men only). Straight male guests may be more interested in the nearby glamour-girl bar, perhaps rather unsubtly called, ‘Top Totty’! The guest lounge and bar is fully licensed and food is available and delivered to your door throughout your stay. A continental breakfast is served daily in the lounge area. Talking of which, the lounge has a great view over the Royal Pavilion and boasts warm decor and east-facing sun terrace. A good little B&B, well situated for the whole of Brighton and probably the best value economy stay in Brighton. |
