Village Street Party... highlight of Pride 2008

Presented by The Community Involvement Team, The Village Street Party 2008 takes place on the Saturday and Sunday of the big Pride weekend in Brighton.

The streets will be closed as revellers celebrating the Pride Festival in the city that weekend descend on St James Street to keep the party spirit going. Outside bars and extended licences are arranged at many of the venues in the area and there'll be food outlets open during the party and a sound system will be keeping the soundtrack consistent along the streets.

The street once again come alive as revellers celebrating the Pride weekend descend on St James Street and surrounding streets to keep the party spirit going. Outside bars and extended licences have been arranged in many of the venues in the area and there'll be food outlets open during the party and a sound system that will be relaying live coverage from Juice 107.2 with local DJs keeping the soundtrack consistent along the streets.
