The Rainbow Chorus

the rainbow chorus... brighton's lgbt choir

For over a decade, the Rainbow Chorus has been offering a supportive environment for its LGBT members to sing together and hone their talents and confidence. Through performance, the chorus also raises the profile of the LGBT community as well as providing top quality entertainment - and their performance biog is pretty impressive. Performances have included Komedia, Brighton Festival Fringe, and two concerts alongside songstress Hazel O'Connor, as well as appearances at the larger concert venues in the city - most notably The Dome and The Old Market and the choir have also been seen at events further afield, including a European LGBT choir performance at Paris Pride.

The choir now has over 30 members and meets up weekly for rehearsals and the choir are always on the look out for new vocalists to join them. There's no audition, you don't have to read music and it's a great way to meet new people and be part of the local community.

For more information, visit the choir's website - and keep an eye on our listings for information on where and when you can catch one of the choir's performances.
